Dr. Ioana Datcu graduated in 2007 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). She has private dental practice in Ravenna (ID Dental Clinic), Emilia Romagna, that is dedicated to Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. She also collaborates with other practice in Implant Surgery. She is a co-author in Italian and scientific publications and a lecturer. She is also Clinical Tutor for Implant Surgery Training Course in Portugal. She has done further implant training in Italy, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), China, Taiwan, focused on Implant Planning, Surgical Procedures, Crestal Sinus Lift Approach, and Guided Implant Surgery Procedure.

Her main domains of expertise are;
Minimally Invasive Implantology and Crestal Sinus Lift Approach, Digital Dentistry and Digital Virtual Planning, Digital Implant Planning and Implant Guided Surgery; Digital Impression Aesthetics Dentistry and Soft Tissue Management, and Periodontal and Prosthetic Complex Rehabilitation.

Dr. Rodrigo Neiva earned his Certificate and Master's degree in Periodontics from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Neiva currently serves as the Chair of the Dept. of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is active in clinical research related to bone and soft tissue augmentation, as well as novel techniques of Implant Therapy. He has published various scientific papers and book chapters and lectures frequently both nationally and internationally, focusing on methods and techniques aimed to improve both periodontal and implant treatment outcomes.

Graham Blackbeard, has a Masters in Science in Engineering. In 1983 and 1984 he was a Rotary Foundation Scholar at the Division of Artificial Organs at the University of Utah. He has developed and manufactured heart valves, artificial hearts, various dental implant products and orthopaedic arthroplasties.

In 1987 he established Southern Implants (Pty) Ltd. This is one of a very few multi-national companies, head quartered in South Africa. After 33 years, this South African manufacturer of Dental Implants has become a significant force in the international market by way of credible clinical data supporting an extensive and innovative product range. He has given presentations at the Academy of Osseointegration and the World Congress of Oral Implantology and the American Academy of Prosthodontics. He has co-authored a number of International Dental Implant Publications.

Approximately 80% of Southern Implants production is exported. It has established subsidiaries in the UK, USA, Australia, Spain and Swede. It has distributors in Russia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Chile, France, Benelux, Greece, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Portugal and New Zealand.

Southern Implants also design and manufactures a leading product range for the largest dental implant company in the world, based in Switzerland.

Southern Implants is one of the first companies to receive MDSAP certification and to take on the new European MDR Certification.

Graham has been a key player in the establishment of related Medical Device firms where he is a Shareholder or Director. These include Southern Medical (Pty) Ltd, Southern ENT (Pty) Ltd and Southern CMF (Pty) Ltd.

Dr Rebecca Ellis graduated top of her class with BDS (Distinction) from the University of Otago, New Zealand 2011. In 2015 Rebecca moved to Melbourne, Australia to complete a three-year doctoral degree in Periodontology at the University of Melbourne. During her training she was awarded an ITI research grant for preclinical research in implant dentistry. Her research interests include preclinical and clinical research in immediate implant placement and also guided bone regeneration.

Rebecca is a fellow of the ITI, and current Australasian Section Chair.

Rebecca enjoys teaching and presenting both locally and internationally.

Rebecca holds the position of Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Charles Sturt University, NSW.

Rebecca has worked as a specialist Periodontist in full-time private practice in New Zealand for the last 5 years. She has recently relocated to Sydney and is excited to be a part of the team at Sydney Periodontics and Implant Centre.

Dr Eugene Foo graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours and later completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) from the University of Sydney. Eugene has a particular interest in reconstructive dentistry and dental implants, and is a Fellow by examination of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr Eugene Foo worked as a Senior Dental Officer at Westmead Hospital as well as working full-time within an implant-focused referral practice in the Sydney CBD and providing dental implant services at various locations within the Sydney region. Dr Eugene Foo currently works in multi-disciplinary private practice environment in Sydney and has a strong focus on continued education attending post-graduate education both within Australia and abroad such as the University of Bern (Switzerland).

Dr Eugene Foo is a past ADA Councilor and a previous member of the Planning Committee for the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) and continues to be a lecturer and examiner for the university course. Dr Eugene Foo is also the current NSW President and past Federal President of the Australasian Osseointegration Society. Dr Eugene Foo brings his clinical experience of long-term results and focus on patient care outcomes to deliver long-term consistency in a practical manner.

Dr. Huwais is the founder of Osseodensification. Dr. Huwais completed his periodontics and implantology surgical training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Post-Grad Periodontics, and at the University of Pennsylvania, Post-Grad Periodontics. Dr. Huwais lectures nationally and internationally on Osseodensification and biomechanical bone instrumentation as well as periodontal and surgical implantology procedures. He is Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Oral Implantology and is the recipient of the AAID Isaih Lew Research Award. Dr. Huwais is the inventor of the Densah® Bur Technology.
